Some firms in Malaysia require that you provide information such as age, religion and marital status in your CV. However, you can choose to reveal them only during the interview itself, or when filling in the firm's application form.

Choose people who have seen you work before eg. charity, clubs, company, school etc. Some companies require that your referer is someone who has known you for more than a certain number of years. If there is no mention, over one year is okay. You may also include their recommendation letters with your application.
