A week later Amy shook her head, indicating to Olga that, no, Gadgets2Go had not paid their bills. She had run out of options, and run out of people to call. Everyone at Gadgets2Go is avoiding hers and Dr. Soon's calls. Only the auto responder responded to their e-mails.
"What should we do, Olga?"
"I guess it is time to call it quits. We will have to send a notice for discontinuation of service."
"But isn't that a little harsh."
"They are not paying us, that is harsh. We have been servicing them without pay all this time. We are not in the wrong here."
"I understand. It is just so hard."
"The first one is always difficult, but if you let this first one get away with their behavior then the rest of your clients are going to emulate them." After a while Olga asked, "Do you think you can write the notice yourself today?"
Amy took a deep breath. "Yes, I can. I will have to do it, after all I am Dr. Soon's secretary."

We are sorry to inform you that Here_And_Now Inc. will discontinue all transactions and communications on behalf of Gadgets2Go Pte. Ltd. as outlined in the Service Contract #123111-A.
The effective date is two weeks from the date of issue of this letter as per our agreement in Clause 12b of the same contract. Our legal advisor, Ms. June Poh, will contact your office to discuss how you may settle the amount due to us.
We regret that matters have reached such a conclusion, for we had such high hopes in playing a role in part of your growth. Please contact my office if you require further information.

"It is okay to still be nice and polite to them, right?" Amy asked.
"Of course it is, you don't want to burn your bridges, Amy. Anyway, everyone is an employee. Some things are beyond their control. I doubt if Ms. Spins plans not to pay us when she signed the contract." Then Olga gave her a thumbs-up, which made Amy smile despite her gloomy mood that day.
