Multiplication Exercise Double Digit

Copyright © 2010 Golda Mowe,

Multiply the top number with the (one) digit of the multiplier first, then go down to the next layer and multiply the same number again with the (ten) digit.  Lastly, add the results of the multiplication for (one) and (ten) together to get the final result.  Two extra boxes have been added for you to input in the results of the (one) and (ten). Use the 'x's as a guide to reduce the possibility of miscalculation.

For 222 x 16 = 3552

Multiply with (one)  222 x 6 = 1332

Next multiply with (ten) 222 x 1(0) = 222(0)

Add the numbers together 1332 + 222(0) = 3552

If your answer is wrong, an 'X' will appear next to it.
